Hello
It’s so nice that you are here :)

I am Franziska, originally from the Black Forest, Germany and currently living down here in the beautiful Scottish Borders.
When I am not hanging out with my family and our cockapoo Mollie, you can find me telling stories.

My Story
As a child, I talked a lot. And I mean a lot. I loved telling stories to anyone who would listen! I also enjoyed writing theatre pieces for my friends and family to perform, and singing was a special passion of mine. Later in life, I started to listen more then talking, which opened up a whole new world.
To be honest my love of storytelling has been with me for as long as I can remember.
Given that I grew up in the Black forest, I basically knew all about the Brother Grimms and their collection of tales from a very young age.
My mother would read these tales out to me and with this, open my mind and heart for their narrative and hidden meanings. My father on the other hand was my source of inspiration, when it came to the art of telling. His flair and unique style of telling a joke or an anecdote is still unmatched!

When I started travelling - meeting all sort of people, in all sorts of places of all sorts of life - I knew that stories were what truly connects us at the core.

After years of only dreaming of becoming a professional storyteller, I finally took the leap and turned that passion into a career!
I completed the Scottish Storytelling Apprenticeship and can now call myself a professional storyteller, as part of the Scottish Storytelling Directory.

During my training years, I not only met amazing and spellbinding people, but also leaned how to captivate an audience and transport them into a world of imagination.
